The Department of Psychology at Hurley Medical Center (HMC) invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral fellowship position in Pediatric Clinical Health Psychology for the training years September 2017 - August 2019.

Clinical Services

  • Consultation-liaison services on inpatient medical units
  • Outpatient medical clinics (e.g., sickle cell disease)
  • Integrated primary care
  • Outpatient psychotherapy
  • Interdisciplinary subspecialty clinics (e.g., cleft lip/palate, cystic fibrosis)

Teaching Activities

  • Teaching, instruction, and shadowing of pediatric medical residents
  • Formal didactic instruction to peers and medical residents on topics related to pediatric psychology, developmental-behavioral pediatrics, and communication skills
  • Community outreach

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $48K year 1; $51K year 2
